Tips on Searching Four Walls Eight Windows' Website
- Case doesn't matter
Searches are case insensitive. Searching for "help" will match "help," "Help," and "HELP."
- Each word is treated as a prefix
A word on a Web page will match your search string if it begins with the same letters. "Bread" will match "bread," "breads", "breaded," "breading," and "breadth." But if you check "Only match whole words," "bread" will only match "bread."
- Words in a phrase must be near one another
If you enter more than one word, matches will be selected only if all the words you enter are close to one another, usually in the same sentence or paragraph.
- The order of words doesn't matter
For example, "Mount Everest" will match "Mount Everest," "Everest Mountain," and "that awesome mountain, the great Everest."
- Common words and numbers are ignored
The search will ignore (1) common words, (2) words shorter than three letters, and (3) numbers shorter than four digits.
