Carole Stuart
The Thank You Book
Illustrated by Arthur Robins

Now in Paperback!

The best-selling illustrator of Where Did I Come From? and What's Happening to Me? is back. Arthur Robins and author Carole Stuart teach both children and adults about common courtesy in The Thank You Book, the third time the artist and writer have collaborated on a project. Now available in paperback, the book is playfully illustrated but contains an important message. In an age where good manners don't seem to count, both Stuart and Robins encourage readers to indulge in the magic of using two very important words, thank you.

The Thank You Book follows a sister and brother through the course of one day and shows the surprising number of times a thank you is appropriate. "Thank you" for holding the door open, "thank you" to the bus driver for a ride to school, "thank you" in French, German, and Japanese, even "thank you" for a bedtime story and a hug goodnight.

Carole Stuart has written two other children's books, one of which was Why Was I Adopted?, also illustrated by Arthur Robins. She lives in New Jersey.

Arthur Robins has illustrated more than fifty children's books, including Where Did I Come From?, What's Happening to Me?, and The Emperor's New Underwear. He won the Smarties Book Prize Gold Medal for The Seven Aliens. He lives in England.
